ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
The Rolando Jimenez Memorial Foundation is a Texas nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to supporting North Texas families with children who are facing financial hardship after the death of a parent. Inspired by the legacy of Rolando “Ro” Jimenez, the foundation works to provide meaningful assistance during one of the most difficult transitions a family can experience. Through community fundraising events, individual donations, and partnerships with local businesses, the foundation raises funds that are given directly to families in need and used to support educational scholarships for children pursuing college or trade school. RJMF operates as an all-volunteer organization—none of its board members or officers receive compensation—and its administrative and event costs are covered by board members and sponsors. This model ensures that every dollar raised at foundation events goes directly to supporting the families it serves.
OUR CAUSES
TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT
Our main cause at the Rolando Jimenez Memorial Foundation is providing support to North Texas families that recently and suddenly lost a parent. Often the families we help lost a single income earner or have children with special needs or medical conditions. We host events to raise funds and make a one-time donation to the family as they make the very challenging transition to life without a parent.
SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
As the Rolando Jimenez Memorial Foundation grows we look at additional ways to support families, and particularly children, that have been impacted financially by the sudden and unexpected loss of a parent. One of our most recent endeavors is looking to help ensure these children have a means to continue their education either through college or trade school. By donating to our Foundation throughout the year you can help fund these scholarships and help provide children a brighter future.
